I'm looking for some shades and really like these Oakley style: http://shopzat.com/2010/03/oakley-nanowire-3-0-sunglasses-new-black-polarised/ And I also like the Inmate and Probation by Oakley. I really don't want to pay ridiculous amounts for them, though. Anyone know where I can get a good pair of replicas? Don't bother telling me to get real ones, cuz I'm not paying that much.
You can get real inmates for around $50.00. That's about double a pair of fakes. So buy a pair of fakes, break them, and buy another- you have just spent the same amount for real Oakleys.
Oakley vault stores will carry sales glasses their "DE" cases. When you go to an Oakley Vault store, you'll have to ask specifically for them. Sometimes Steepandcheap.com will have them, as well. Sometimes 6pm.com will run a special, as well.
The probation is a bit too new for the counterfeiters to make so there aren't many replicas of those. The shield lens design with the unique frame shape requires special tooling and is expensive to produce. Counterfeiters want to be able to produce glasses cheaply for maximum profit. I haven't seen counterfeit Nanowire 3's either.
However, I"m sure one of the spammers on here who peddle their inferior FAKE products will surely post later and give you a whole host of websites located in China where you MAY or May not get the product you ordered, or you may or may not even get your product at all.
Realistically, for the price of 3 replicas, you could get real. So i'm going to advise getting the real ones anyway. You'll be risking a lot (including your eyesight) by being a poser.
