The history of ray ban wayfarers and aviators
Ray Ban sunglasses have been around since 1937, when the Aviator tailor was urban by Bausch & Lomb for the U.S. Army Air Corps. Designing to be not only functional, but chic, Ray ban have never gone out of mode and possibly never will.
The directory of actors who have worn classic Ray ban aviator or wayfarer in movie roles is practically endless. Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, Tom Cruise in Risky Business, Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi in The Blues Brothers, and Will Smith in Men in Black are just a few. Other legendary faces wedged honorable Ray ban involve Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and Andy Warhol. President Barack Obama has been seen sporting Ray ban, too.
The Aviator elegance is practically synonymous with the name Ray ban, and the chic has evolved into many subcategories. The Shooter object's nose part is infamous for its "cigarette possessor" core round. The classic Aviator mode is now unfilled with rims of gold, black, or silver. There are even secondary sized aviators, loved by kids, and perhaps even more loved by adults with small faces who have a hard time finding fashionable sunglasses that fit. The lesser styles come with regular gunmetal frames, and your worthy of classic sinister green or lilac lenses. One of the beginner styles even features pink frames with pink lenses!
Nearly as famous as its aviator sibling style, Ray ban 3025 was introduced in 1952 and became wildly trendy in the 1950s and 1960s. Though the L1725 and the classic Wayfarer 2140 were not as accepted during the 1970s, they came loud back to prominence when Tom Cruise wore them in the hit movie Risky Business in 1983. The iconic Wayfarer drawing is thought by some to be the best promotion strategy in sunglasses ever.
Ray ban 3211 has been taken in a more mode-forwards track with new styles and colors. There's no disbelief about it.
