Heres the deal. I am looking to get a pair of costa del mar sunglasses for all around bass fishing(seeing underwater cover and sight fishing). What is the best color lenses to get(I was looking at the amber lenses but then I saw blue and green mirror lenses and didn't know what that was) So if anyone can answer those questions it would really help.
sometimes the color might determine what amount of light is blocked or relflected. i have always liked the amber but some of my fishing buddies swear by the smoke color, saying its the best in the brightest conditions. so if you fish early morning in the columbia river, you might want a lighter color, because its typically cloudy there. if you fish the afternoon in the florida keys you might want a darker color. some manufacturers have info about this, like oakley for instance.
the proccesses and thicknesses vary greatly among polarized sunglasses and some are better than others. they even sell that yellow lense for night time. so they try to cover all the bases with the colors they choose.
i know this sounds like way too big of a deal over sunglasses, but if you are going to spend some dinero on them, may as well make sure and get whats best for you.
